Hi its not marketed as a12v hence the £129 price tag but it is actually a 12v tv with an inverted to mains power cable that plugs into the back of the tv so all you need is a 12v power cable.

Looks good but can't see any mention about 12 volts. Any advice you can give would be appreciated. I presume that the hard drive is powered by a USB.

What small External hard drive do you suggest and how do you download films on to it. we have the same set up at home on all 6 tvs, we dont buy dvds any more in fact i'm going to sell all ours when i get chance. We use a LG LED with usb port, carry a small external 320gb hard drive with hundreds of films on it, no more dvds and a slim lightweight tv. Luxor from Asda great telly is has LG panels inside it so a bargain. 2 years warranty and very pleased with it If you have a tv with freeview do you need a different arial than the original already fitted? don't want to mess about with additional kit etc?Īs long as it's a digital aerial you'll be fine,which i think most fitted to modern caravans are.Īkura from Makro. We have a Kogan 19" tv/dvd combo you can pause live tv and record - great price to. mum has just bought 24" Techwood from Morrisons (with dvd) for £149 and if it's as good as her 32" of the same make there should be no problem. excellent picture,easy to use remote control and was cheap as chips. Technica 19" LCD tv/dvd combi with built in freeview. Daughter has the Aldi one in her bedroom which is also good and has a 3 year warranty. As we normally use EHU I didn't see the point of paying 3 times this for a 12v one. It works fine and as its cheap we leave it stored in the van. Got a combined TV/DVD from Argos last year for £89. We have just purchased a Pyramid tv as it works on 12v and as we do rallies it's perfect for us (especially hubby who can't miss his moto GP) Happily recommend these and very helpful site too. However it was mains only, so I now use a which works very well too (certainly for the use it needs to provide) which will optionally run off 12v for when off EHU. It fits into a specially built housing on our van.Īs it only ever got infrequent use, we had a Tesco own brand model for a few years (Technica) that worked very well and it's still fine now.
